We take the results of independent antivirus test labs very seriously. The very fact that a company’s product shows up in the results is a kind of vote of confidence. Some rate the URLs you visit or appear in search results using a red, yellow, and green color-coding system. Some actively block your system processes from connecting to known malware-hosting URLs or deceptive sites (phishing).
The software contains bugs, and sometimes these bugs affect your security. Cautious users will keep Windows and all programs up to date and fix these errors as soon as possible.
